Another Love goes in Pain

The look in your eyes
as mild as a child
as days went by
you went drifting away from my sight

The look in your eyes
now i realise it was like the melting ice
then you found the unreal reasons
to lead me into a island of isolation

Just caring for yourself
making me lost
in the darkness of your fading love
showing me the way towards loneliness
opening the door of a sadness hall

With the things you did to me
broke my heart and shattered my dreams
you never cared for my feelings
tears you dropped were only the last excuse
that you love me no more

You found comfort and confidence
when you relied on me and were in trance
you could find the strength to stand
telling your friends about it
you needed me then

Finding a chance to step into a foreign land
were the first signs that echoed in the air
you would drift away from this love and man
seems so clear those were your initial plans

Now you've found another one
and you're gone
im still lying here on the ground
recovering from the pain
memories keep ringing in my mind
answers are hard to find
why the things and
the dreams we shared
have all ended in vain
